Lynda Weinman, Lynda.com

Lynda Weinman is best known as the author of numerous web design books, the co-founder of lynda.com and the co-founder of the Flashforward Conference & Film Festival (which was acquired by BAX in 2008). The lynda.com Online Training Library® was one of the first online video subscription services in the world; founded in 2002, which like public broadcasting, is a subscriber-supported platform that contains no advertising. She's been an early adopter of software and computer technologies since the early 1980's and wrote the very first book on web design in 1995. Weinman has taught motion graphics, computer imaging, interactive media, and animation at Art Center College of Design, UCLA Extension, San Francisco State College Multimedia Studies and American Film Institute, written numerous books, and spoken at numerous events. This will be her 17th Flashforward conference, and the first time in the role of a speaker!
